Homeland Patriotic Cantata

A Moving Tribute to Our Veterans

The Homeland Cantata is a presentation of patriotic songs and narrations written by Randy Vader and Jay Rouse. It is presented by the combined choirs of All Saints Church, McAdoo, PA and St. Ambrose Church, Schuylkill Haven, PA in honor of American veterans and active military. Many men and women have fought and are fighting for the freedom all Americans share today. The Cantata is one of the many ways in which to show thanks and gratitude.

Some of the songs included in the presentation are The Star Spangled Banner, This Land is Your Land, America the Beautiful, A Salute to the Armed Forces, Count the Cost, Lean on Me, and The Battle Hymn of the Republic.

Prior to the cantata, all in attendance are welcome to enroll the names of deceased veterans in a memorial book maintained by the members of the combined choirs, as to never forget all those who fought for our freedom. All veterans and active military in attendance will be publicly acknowledged and thanked for their sacrifice as part of the program.

Following the Patriotic Cantata will be an Armed Forces Day ceremony including a speech by veteran Kevin Bittenbender and recognition of a variety of local veterans. More information about Armed Forces Day can be found by clicking here.
