In order to ensure everyone has a great experience at Knoebels, we’ve implemented policies and general guest services across both our Knoebels and Lake Glory campgrounds. We recommend you familiarize yourself with the information below before visiting to make your trip as smooth as possible! This is a family campground. We cater to families and organized groups only. Minors without adult supervision are not allowed. We retain the right to evict without prior notice anyone, who in our opinion, is creating a disturbance or being a nuisance. No refunds.
Parking & Vehicles
Your campsite includes parking for one passenger vehicle. Please do not park on other campsites. Campground speed limit is 10 mph or less. You must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license to operate any motorized vehicle in the campground. All bicycles, golf carts, scooters and skateboards must be parked at dusk for safety reasons.
Enjoy yourself! But, please observe reasonable quiet hours from 11pm to 8am.
Tent platforms are for tents and screen houses only; please do not park any vehicles on them. Do not remove a table from another site without permission. Please do not walk through other campsites.
Permitted on-leash, under control and with owners assuming sanitary responsibility. Pets should not be left unattended for extended periods such that they create a hazard or nuisance. No pets allowed in Cozy Log Cabins or Eagle Roost Units.
Trees make a campground; please do not cut down or harm any tree. Recycling stations are located throughout the campground for your convenience.
This is a family amusement resort and no alcoholic beverages are permitted in the park. Please keep these beverages at your site and do not carry them throughout the campground or into the amusement park.
No smoking in the Cozy Cabins and Eagles Roost. In the amusement park, please refrain from smoking outside of designated smoking area.
Firearms, fireworks, bows and arrows, slingshots and air guns are NOT permitted. Sparklers, ground spinners and cap guns are permitted.
Pioneer Train Note
Please instruct your children to stay clear of the Pioneer Train track. Do not enter the tunnels. Sticks or stones on the tracks could cause serious injuries to other children riding the train.
Our store is conveniently located at the entrance to our campgrounds and offers items such as milk, bread, canned goods, chips and snacks, cooking aids, bottled soda, Slush Puppies, personal grooming and health supplies, batteries, hardware items, Coleman fuel and other camping provisions. An ATM machine is also located at our campground store.
Campground Worship Service
A Protestant, non-denominational worship service is held every Sunday morning at 9am from Memorial Day through Labor Day in the Knoebels Campground under the direction of the Shamokin Area Christian Laymen’s Association. We also have a directory of local churches and worship times posted. Elysburg, three miles west of the park, offers Roman Catholic, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist, and Christian and Missionary Alliance churches.
