Q: What time will you begin stamping hands?
A: Our wonderful handstamp team will be ready to greet you no later than 10:30 a.m.!

Q: If we get our hands stamped at 10:30 a.m., what can we do before the rides open?
A: Breakfast at International Food Court is a great way to fuel up for a day of fun. While you're in that area of the park, be sure to say hello to our resident bald eagles, Henry and Hattie! Weather-permitting, additional attractions will be open at 10:30 a.m., including Fascination, Playland Arcade and mini golf.

Q: What time do the rides begin operation?
A: Rides open at noon on both April 28 and April 29. We've missed our visitors!

Q: Will you once again have auxiliary handstamp queues?
A: We will have 18 handstamp queues! For a second year, there will be additional queues near the Alamo in front of the Retro Active performance stage. Though you might approach the extra queues first, just remember that there are 14 more at the usual handstamp location (near mini golf). Please note that the four additional queues will only be available opening weekend.

Q: Why should we pre-purchase our pay-one-price plans, and how do we do so?
A: Pre-purchasing pay-one-price plans online should help speed up the process once you arrive at the front of the handstamp line (since there will be no cash or credit card transaction necessary). Just bring your barcode (printed or on your smart phone), and leave the rest to us. You can purchase plans ahead of time beginning in March by clicking on "Opening Weekend BOGO" here.

Q: Will all rides be open?
A: Each year, we do our very best to have every ride ready for opening day. However, sometimes that's just not possible. At this time (April 26), the only ride we are aware of that won't open is the Giant Wheel. Check back for updates.

Q: What time does the park close?
A: Our advertised closing time is 6:00 p.m. However, we heard a littttle rumor that sometimes Knoebels stays open a littttle later on opening day if there's a large crowd and the weather is just right!

Q: Is the BOGO deal offered on both Saturday, April 28, and Sunday, April 29?
A: Absolutely! And here's a little hint - Sunday is usually the less busy of the two days.

Q: How can I stay up-to-date on opening weekend info?
A: Follow our Facebook event, Knoebels Opening Weekend BOGO 2018, for info, or download your guide here.

Q: Are any sites available at Knoebels Park Campground and Lake Glory Campground?
A: YES! You can book by calling Knoebels Park Campground at (570) 672-9555, and Knoebels Lake Glory Campground at (570) 356-7392.

Q: I read that Knoebels and the Dark Attraction & Funhouse Enthusiasts (DAFE) are kicking off the season with fundraisers for Give Kids the World. Is this open to the public?
A: Give Kids The World (GKTW) Village is a nonprofit resort in Florida that provides weeklong, cost-free vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. When DAFE asked if we would partner with them on a pair of fundraisers, we happily agreed! Since 1995, we have welcomed GKTW families with an IAAPA World Passport to the park for a day of fun on us, and have participated in numerous fundraisers during that time. On Saturday, April 28, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., we will be selling waffles and ice cream for breakfast at the International Food Court. On Sunday, April 29, at 9:30 a.m., there will be a live auction in the Haunted Mansion courtyard. Twelve winners will take an exclusive walkthrough tour of the Haunted Mansion with "mansion experts," complete with ride history, stories of its development and legends. All proceeds from both events benefit GKTW.
