November 20, 2020 Update:

COVID-19 health and safety practices for Joy Through the Grove and Christmas Village.

We are grateful to be able to provide a brand new season of fun with Joy Through the Grove - A Christmas Light Experience! As always, safety is our top priority, so here's info to help you prep for your visit.

FAQs
Are face coverings required at Joy Through the Grove?
For the safety of our team and your fellow guests, please wear a face covering while interacting with our team at our admissions building and while using restroom facilities.

Joy Through the Grove is a drive through light display, so you are welcome to remove your face covering while traveling through the display with members of your household. For information on traveling with non-household members, you can visit the PA Department of Health web site.

Do you offer contactless payment for Joy Through the Grove?
The best way to ensure contactless payment is to pre-purchase your ticket by clicking here.

Pre-purchasing is highly recommended, but isn't required. By purchasing online, we can scan the ticket right from your phone or collect your print-at-home ticket.
Additionally, pre-purchasing guarantees availability of tasty treat package add-ons, and speeds up transaction time and get you to the fun faster!
Are face coverings required at Christmas Village?
For the safety of our team and guests, all guests must wear a face covering upon exiting their vehicles. Guests dining at Nicke Plate Bar & Grill must follow all PA Department of Health guidelines (which will be followed by our team, too).
Do you have any grab-and-go food options at Christmas Village?
Friday through Sunday, we'll have grab-and-go food items and snacks at Christmas Village! This includes items such as hot dogs, bratwurst, soup, holiday ham sandwich, apple cider, hot chocolate, bottled Pepsi products, and more!
What should I know about visiting Santa and Kozmo at Christmas Village?
The number of guests permitted in Santa's workshop at one time is limited, so please plan to wait outdoors prior to entering. Santa will wear a face covering and will be socially distanced behind his workshop bench.
Hey, Knoebels! I Still have questions!
No worries! We're happy to answer any questions via phone at (800) 487-4386 or email by clicking here.

General FAQs

August 6, 2020 Update:

We couldn’t be more thankful for those of you who have trusted us to provide a safe and fun experience, and for our team who has helped provide this environment.

We want to let you know we plan to operate the amusement park daily through Labor Day, on weekends in September after Labor Day, and for Hallo-Fun (October 9-11, 16-18, 23-25, and 30-November 1). Our campgrounds will remain open during this time, too!

Reservations are not needed for the amusement park. Hours of operation and pay-one price plans will be updated here, and we update our available rides list daily by 10AM, which you can view by clicking here.

You will continue to find important health and safety measures throughout the park, such as:
•  More than 150 hand sanitizing stations
•  Social distancing indicators
•  Rigorous cleaning and sanitizing routines
•  Required face covering policy
•  Signage with important health and safety reminders
•  Sneeze guards at food stands, gift shops, guest services and handstamp

More information on these measures can be found by clicking here.

Our entertainment calendar has been updated here. Unfortunately, some events have been canceled, including Doggie Dive, Covered Bridge & Arts Festival and Knoebel Lumber 5K. However, we're excited to announce a BRAND NEW event: Joy Though the Grove - A drive through Christmas light display

We look forward to making more memories with you throughout the rest of our season!

June 26, 2020 Update:

(Added June 29 - Safe Play Details)
We’re excited to welcome our first guests of the season this
Wednesday, July 1! Our team has worked hard to prepare as much of the park as possible despite delays in projects and hiring. It is important to the Knoebel family and the Knoebels team to be able to preserve as much of summer as possible for our guests.

The first few weeks of operation will provide guests with fun, food and fantasy, from noon until 8PM. The initial operating days will offer the opportunity to pay-per-ride with individual ride tickets only. At this point, we expect to open with 30+ rides and the majority of our food stands, games and gift shops. If possible, we’ll open additional rides as the season goes on, depending on project completion and additional hiring. You can join Team Knoebels by clicking here.

Our team has also been planning operational adjustments due to COVID-19 such as, but not limited to:

  • Placing more than 150 hand sanitizing stations throughout the park
  • Enhancing already rigorous cleaning and sanitizing routines
  • Providing additional team member training
  • Updating policies and procedures for team members and guests
  • Producing signage with important health and safety reminders
  • Installing sneeze guards at food stands, gift shops, guest services and handstamp

May 4, 2020 Update:
For the health and safety of our team and community, we continue to follow federal and state guidance to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. At a recent daily briefing, Pennsylvania's Secretary of Health indicated amusement parks would be permitted to open during the "green" reopening phase. Though it's too soon to know exactly when that will be, we remain committed to welcoming back our guests as soon as safely possible. At this time, we know with certainty the amusement park won't be able to open on the dates that have been crossed off our calendar.

Though we continue to miss our park guests, we are thrilled Three Ponds Golf Course reopened on May 1 and golfers enjoyed a beautiful weekend! Lake Glory Campground is aiming to open May 22, and our Park Campground is aiming to open June 11 (updated May 12). We know how important the campgrounds are to families who have been making memories with us for many years, and for those who were looking forward to beginning this tradition.

We will continue to assist our guests with reservations and general questions Monday through Friday, 9AM-5PM, at (800) 487-4386 or by emailing us. We are currently accepting new reservations for early summer. However, reservations may be modified based on our actual opening dates. We are managing reservations one week at a time, and with the goal of providing the best experience possible though much uncertainty still exists.

Thank you for your continued understanding as we do our best to navigate this unprecedented situation. Please stay healthy and happy – We remain hopeful we’ll see you soon!

April 7, 2020 Update:
For the health and safety of our team and community, we're closely following federal and state guidelines to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. With this being the case, our off-season projects are on hold and will need to be completed once our team returns to work. Since much uncertainty exists as to when this will be possible, our most responsible route is to delay the start of our 2020 season until further notice.

From campground and cottage reservations, to company picnics and special events, we have a plan in place to address your questions and concerns. We are managing the situation one week at a time, and with the goal of providing the best experience possible for you, our valued guests.

We are available to assist you Monday through Friday, 9AM-5PM, at (800) 487-4386 or by emailing us. We ask for your patience, as we expect an increase in inquiries. We are currently accepting new reservations for June 1 through November 1, 2020. However, reservations can be modified based on our actual park opening date. *Please note: We know with certainty we won't be able to open on the dates that have been crossed off our calendar. It's likely our calendar will continue to change as our off-season projects remain on hold.

Our guests and team members are providing hope for the brighter days ahead. Guests are reaching out, requesting new reservations and providing assurance they’ll be here when we open, and many team members have expressed their desire to get back to work. We couldn’t be more appreciative of this support and hope you know we’re eager to welcome everyone back as soon as safely possible.

Thank you for your understanding as we do our best to navigate this unprecedented situation. Please stay healthy and happy – We’ll see you soon!

March 20, 2020 Update:

After much discussion and monitoring of the quickly changing COVID-19 situation, we've made the decision to delay the start of our 2020 season by two weeks. Opening Weekend is now scheduled for May 9 and 10.

This means our events schedule for April and part of May will be updated. We'll communicate these updates via our website and social media outlets within the next week.

If you have campground, cottage or picnic reservations, or ride-all-day passes, for the April 25-26 or May 2-3 weekends, don't worry - Our team will respond to your questions as quickly as possible!

A member of our Guest Relations team is available to answer your questions via phone Monday through Friday, from 9AM until 5PM, or via email here. We ask for your patience, as we expect an increase in guest inquiries.

Operational information for our sister companies is as follows:

Since we’ve canceled our job fairs, we’ve launched Virtual Interviews. Interested applicants can apply online here. We'll call the applicant to schedule a virtual interview, interview via FaceTime, Skype or Google Duo, then email paperwork and additional instructions.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we do our best to navigate this situation!
