In order to provide safe outdoor entertainment and maintain social distancing guidelines, we are monitoring and managing our capacity throughout the resort. Knoebels is proud to continue to honor FREE ADMISSION, FREE PARKING, FREE ENTERTAINMENT & FREE PICNIC FACILITIES.  Our standards will not change, and walk-ins are still welcome. Guests can use individual ride tickets any day we're open, and we are offering ride passes daily though Labor Day!

Hand with a Protection Shield
MAINTAIN A SAFE AND HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT

  • DO NOT VISIT IF...Please do not visit if you have a fever or symptoms of respiratory infection, returned from overseas in the last 14 days, or been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
  • FACE COVERINGS REQUIREDGuests are not permitted in the park unless they are wearing a face covering. The only exceptions are while dining, or if a guest is under the age of two.

    Face masks must be worn on rides. For safety reasons, face shields are not permitted on rides, but can be utilized elsewhere in the park
  • MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCINGMaintain social distancing of six feet and follow the yellow in-park floor and guide rail indicators. This could result in limited capacity for rides and gift shops.
  • WASH HANDS FREQUENTLYWash hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, or with hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available. Approximately 150 hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the park.Geisinger.org
  • PLAN FOR EXTRA WAIT TIMEDue to social distancing and frequent sanitizing of high-touch points, you might experience increased wait times.
  • EXPECT CLOSURESFrequent sanitizing could mean temporary closures of rides, food stands, gift shops, games or restrooms. Some rides, food stands, gift shops, games and attractions will be unavailable this year.
  • FOLLOW SAFETY INSTRUCTIONSPlease follow all written and verbal safety instructions, and be respectful of fellow park guests and our team.

CLEANING PROCEDURES

We have increased our already rigorous cleaning and sanitation procedures, utilizing approved cleaning agents. Guests will find an increased availability of hand washing and hand sanitizing locations throughout their visit to help reduce exposure to germs.  Frequent sanitizing could mean temporary closures of rides, food stands, gift shops, games or restrooms. 

Some rides, food stands, gift shops, games and attractions will be unavailable this year.  Click each department link to see what is expected to be open closer to your arrival date.

 

THE DETAILS
Rides

Queue Lines will have capacity limits.  While in line, please use the yellow rail markers and/or floor decals as a reminder to maintain social distancing. Families may stand together.  Avoid touching queue rails when necessary.  Frequently use the available hand sanitizing stations. Follow Ride Attendant instructions pertaining to mask, ride loading and loose articles.

Rides not expected to operate opening day due to project completion include:
Ball CrawlSky Slide, Space Walk, Balloon Race, Scenic Skyway, Italian Trapeze, Tornado, Ribbit, Fandango, Flying Turns, Impulse, Red Baron, PowerSurge.

Crystal Pool

Crystal Pool is open daily beginning Friday, July 10, from 11AM-5PM.

Unless in the pool, on waterslides, dining, or under the age of two, all guests are required to wear a face covering.


Gift Shops             
Gift Shops will have capacity limits. We request one family member in each gift shop at a time.

Air Brush, Bargain Shop will reopen in 2021.

 

Games & Attractions
Games will be determined on a per-game basis.

Lazer Maze, Lazer Tag, Old Time Photo, XD Theater and Americana (Blacksmith, Lost Logger & Signs-N-Things) will reopen in 2021.

 

Entertainment            

Hawaiian Bandshell shows will continue with schedule changes (coming soon).  Seating changes are expected to maintain a crowd size of 250 or less, and no personal chairs are permitted.

The Time Machine Theater will have marionette puppet shows only.

Characters will be available for “appearances” but not “meet and greets” (sorry, no hugs or high-fives).

Entertainment & Magic at Roaring Creek Saloon & Retro Active stage show will return in 2021.


Pavilions & Caterings      

Pavilion seating will be arranged to comply with current social distancing guidelines. Due to that: Griddle, Refrigeration, & coin op burner locations may vary from previous years. Do not move the seating.  Hand sanitizer stations will be readily available. Groups must be less than 250 people.

Self serve catering will be dropped off as in previous years in disposable pans with a disposable serving utensils.  Full service catering will be provided as individually packaged hot meals.

 

Food Service             

We will arrange all seating to comply with current social distancing guidelines. Do not move the seating.  Hand sanitizer stations will be readily available. Where possible, separate doorways for entering and exiting dining facilities will be used to minimize person to person contact.  Utensils, menus and condiments will be single use or cleaned and sanitized after every use.  Condiments will be provided to guests at the counter by request. Though not all of our food stands will be open, you might still be able to find some of your favorite items at other stands! Please note: Some food stands may close 1-2 hours before park closing time.

We plan to continue the following Weekly Specials at the Oasis Cafeteria:
Spaghetti Night (Wednesday), Fish Fry (Friday) and BBQ Chicken/Meatloaf Specials (Saturday & Sunday). 

Food stands that will be closed:   Backyard BBQ, Dexter's Deli, The Lemon, Mexican, Mix it Up, Nut Shack, Phoenix Trolly, Pool Refreshment Stand, Totem Treats, Waffle Shack, Sweet Treats, Wharf.
Pizza Night (Monday), Steak Night (Tuesday), Wing Night (Thursday)  will return in 2021.
