June 14 Face Covering Update

We look forward to seeing you this season!  Please take time to review COVID-19 related health and safety procedures based on guidance from health officials including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and other government agencies and industry organizations. The safety and well-being of our guests and team are always our top priorities and guide our decisions.

Knoebels is proud to continue to honor FREE ADMISSION, FREE PARKING, FREE ENTERTAINMENT & FREE PICNIC FACILITIES.  Our standards will not change, and walk-ins are still welcome. Guests can use individual ride tickets any day we're open, and we are offering ride passes on select dates!

  2. Select the calendar date you plan to visit.
  3. "Buy Passes” will be displayed on days when ride or pool passes are offered*.
  4. Select your visit date and add the number and type of of passes you would like to purchase for that date.
  5. Click the add to cart button, and complete your purchase.

Pricing & Planning

* Ride Passes are available select pre- and post-season weekends, and weekdays during our main park season! Pre-purchasing pool passes is recommended on weekends, as capacity is limited. To view a downloadable park operating calendar, click here.


Hand with a Protection Shield

  • DO NOT VISIT IF...Do not visit if you have COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19.
  • FACE COVERINGSFully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings while at Knoebels. Fully vaccinated guests can continue to wear face coverings if they choose.
  • WASH HANDS FREQUENTLYWash hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, or with hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available. Nearly 200 hand sanitizer stations are located at Knoebels thanks to Geisinger!Geisinger.org
  • EXPECT CLOSURESFrequent sanitizing could mean temporary closures of rides, food stands, gift shops, games or restrooms. Some rides, food stands, gift shops, games and attractions will be closed this season.
  • FOLLOW SAFETY INSTRUCTIONSFollow all written and verbal safety instructions, and be respectful of fellow park guests and our team.
  • HAVE FUN!!!We'll do our part to ensure a safe and fun visit! Thank you for your cooperation to ensure the safety of all who visit Knoebels.

Cleaning Bucket & Sprays

We have enhanced our already rigorous cleaning and sanitizing procedures, utilizing approved cleaning agents. Guests will find nearly 200 hand sanitizing stations throughout Knoebels to help reduce the spread of germs. Frequent sanitizing could mean temporary closures of rides, food stands, gift shops, games or restrooms. 

The status of some rides, food stands, gift shops, games and attractions will vary on a daily basis, and others will be unavailable this year. 



Avoid touching queue rails unless necessary. Frequently use the available hand sanitizing stations. Follow all ride attendant instructions pertaining to safety.

Rides not expected to operate at all this season include: Ball CrawlSky Slide and Space Walk.

Crystal Pool

Crystal Pool is open daily through September 6.

Unless in the pool, on waterslides, dining, or under the age of two, all guests who are not fully vaccinated are required to wear a face covering.

Gift Shops             
Guests who are not fully vaccinated are required to wear face coverings while in gift shops.


Games & Attractions
Available games will be determined on a daily basis.

The Time Machine Theater will have marionette puppet shows only.

Entertainment at Roaring Creek Saloon will return in 2022.

Pavilions & Caterings      

Pavilion seating will be arranged to comply with current event guidelines. Due to that: Griddle, Refrigeration, & coin op burner locations may vary from previous years. Do not move the seating.  Hand sanitizer stations will be readily available.

Self serve catering will be dropped off as in previous years in disposable pans with a disposable serving utensils.  Full service catering meals will be prepared in our sanitized kitchen and grill areas, then served cafeteria style at your pavilion. 


Food Service             

Hand sanitizer stations will be readily available. Utensils, menus and condiments will be single use or frequently cleaned and sanitized. Though not all food stands will be open, you might be able to find some of your favorite items at other stands! Please note: Some food stands may close 1-2 hours before park closing time.

We plan to continue the following Weekly Specials at the Oasis Cafeteria:
Spaghetti Night (Wednesday), Fish Fry (Friday) and BBQ Chicken/Meatloaf Specials (Saturday & Sunday). 

Food stands that may be closed:  Dexter's Deli, The Lemon, Mexican, Mix it Up, Nut Shack, Phoenix Trolly, Pool Refreshment Stand, Totem Treats, Waffle Shack, Sweet Treats.
